Our Story
Kate Taylor established her design studio Kate Taylor Interiors in 2014, after building her high-end residential design career at Nate Berkus Associates, Chicago and the Interiors Division at Loro Piana, New York City.
The eponymous firm is a full-service luxury design company whose primary focus is high-end residential design. While the team continuously pushes design boundaries to create bespoke spaces that meet each client’s needs, the firm is known for its sophisticated and timeless aesthetic.
Kate Taylor Interiors creates innovative and unique designs that focus on individual client tastes and lifestyles. “We pride ourselves on an impeccable attention to detail and relationships grounded in trust, transparency, and a flawless end product,” Kate says.

Recent projects
Recent projects include a complete gut renovation of a 1940s Laguna Beach bungalow, a historical loft update for the actor Taylor Kinney, and multiple apartments at the notable No. 9 Walton in Chicago.
